CSA - Community Supported Agriculture

Community Supported Agriculture consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farmland becomes, either legally or spiritually, the community's farm, with the growers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production.

Our CSA began with a dream, to bring fresh produce grown by our community, to our community. We partner with ARISE and Shine, a local non-profit that works with local community growers to provide culturally-specific food that is fresh and healthy and helps them reach the people who need it most.

We work together to avoid food waste. We provide assistance with proper food storage tips to newcomers. We work together to help them preserve the quality and nutritional value of the foods they purchase, prevent food-borne illnesses caused by harmful bacteria and make the most of their food dollar by preventing spoilage.
